Looking for Horse Trails? The Equestrian trail, "Peckerneck Trail" is located just south of Alma on Hwy 183 at the west end of Harlan County Reservoir.

  Ride the Trail!

 Peckerneck Trail is specifically designed for and utilized by horseback. It is approximately a 12 mile trail encompassing 3 loops. It is rugged and remote offering spectacular views of the lake and hill country.

Disappear into nature as you walk or bike along the newly opened Pheasant Ridge Trail.

Pheasant Ridge Trail!

Take a stroll along the newly opened Pheasant Ridge Trail. The trail consists of 3 miles of concrete walkway that is designated for Hiking and Biking from Alma to the Methodist Cove Park. The River’s Edge nature trail is located along the Republican River within North Outlet Park. This trail winds through the river bottom forest and is well maintained with many trees identified by markers.
